While all the crazy Riots were happening down the road. We decided to go on an adventure onto or roof to see if we could see anything.

AUSTRA

I had the privileged of seeing this amazing up and coming band, AUSTRA in Brighton a couple of months ago.
They are my favourite band at the moment.
Mix between The Knife and Lark with a Gothic electro edge to it.
She has Opera training and sings like a god. Its full of theatrical intensity goth electro trio   She clearly hasn’t forgotten her training. Feel It Break is full of theatrical intensity, its set hung with murky, velvet synths on which her darkly luminescent vocals soar and swim, inherently melancholic, however exultant they appear. With its dancefloor-friendly beats (thinkThe Knife with soul), it’s the sort of record you might stick on just before heading to an alternative club.
